Sukyee Woo
Sukyee Woo is a professional teacher with over 25 years of teaching experience. She has her Bachelor of Music, Master of Music, and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from The University of Texas at Austin, where she was a teaching assistant for 4 years. She is a member of the National Guild of Piano Teachers (faculty member), the Music Teachers National Association, the Texas Music Teachers Association, and the Austin District Music Teachers Association. Sukyee was recognized for her teaching excellency and received the 2010-2011 Pre-Collegiate Teacher of the Year Award from the Austin District Music Teachers Association. She served in the Executive Board of ADMTA, chaired competitions, and is now chairing piano festivals.
In her free time, Sukyee loves reaching out to her community by being an active worship and youth leader at her church. Besides teaching, she enjoys gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family.
